Title: A Quantitative Analysis Examining the Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Employment in the United States

This study uses a multiple linear regression model to analyze what impact foreign direct investment to the United States has on employment. The research uses inward foreign direct investment data from 2014-2019 gathered from the Bureau of Economic Analysis and it is aggregated by state. Total employment by state was gathered from the United States Department of Labor from 2014-2019. The hypothesis is that there is a statistically significant correlation between FDI and employment in the United States. This study rejected the null hypothesis with findings of the regression analysis indicated a p value of p=.0001 that a strong statistical correlation exists.
